Second Faces: a Wights supplement

Wights is a game about cruel but deserved revenge. There is no room for gray here, only black, white, and quite often blood. Nemeses are usually extremely corrupt people, and the Wight’s doom is just one entry in their long catalog of sins.

However, it is often interesting when the villain turns out to have a second face. Maybe they show some traces of goodness, maybe there is something in this world they see as worth protecting? Or, maybe, they are fully aware of their sins and do not intend to give them up, but try to silence their conscience with good deeds? This supplement can be used to generate such elements of a Nemesis’s biography.

By default, this supplement is prepared with the Wights game system in mind, but it introduces no rules, only random tables and advice, so it can easily be used to create noble causes for evil and/or influential characters in other games.
